WETLAND MICROFINANCE BANK SO FAR
1. Wetland Microfinance Bank is 10 years in business and to mark this, the management has put together series of activities to commemorate the anniversary.
The first in the series of activities was a one-day lecture, it was held on the 27th of March, 2010 at Wellington Hotel Effurun-Delta State. The Guest lecturer at the anniversary lecture was Prof C.Orubu of the Department of Economics, Delta State University, Abraka. The Chairman of the occasion was Dr.Akpo Mudiaga Odje LLD,LLM(Merit)BL,Fellow Institute of Human & Natural Resources (FIHNR), constitutional lawyer and Author. Other activities include a novelty football match, essay competition and Galla award night for our loyal customers. The celebration will be a year long event.

2. Wetland Microfinance Bank has taken up the task of getting close to her numerous clients with eight branches spread across Delta State, Nigeria. Wetland Microfinace Bank is now in Bomadi. Our clients will no longer have to travel long distance to make transactions.
3. Wetland Microfinance Bank has acquired a new web-based software. It is an online system which makes it possible for our clients to make deposits and withdrawals from any of our branches. The system has a Short Message Service (SMS), by this clients are well informed on the state of their accounts through the SMS. The software is fully compliant with the e-payment system.
